PRIMARY PURPOSE: Play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing the IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) solution and day-to-day operations at Progressive Field supporting an elevated and compelling fan experience at the ballpark. Collaborate across internal departments to deliver dynamic, relevant, and timely content throughout the venue’s screens. Ensure that all digital displays throughout Progressive field – spanning the main concourse, premium club spaces, and suite levels– adhere to brand standards, honor partnership agreements, and align with stakeholder approvals. Provide additional support to teammates in updating content for both business and baseball operations, maintaining a cohesive IPTV strategy that enhances the fan experience and propels the organization’s goals forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), Technical Coordination, & Quality Control

  • Oversee content coordination across a range of internal stakeholders to meet business objectives effectively.
  • Schedule and manage gameday content through the IPTV content management system at Progressive Field.
  • Align content delivery with organizational goals, leveraging ROI metrics to measure success.
  • Coordinate the acquisition, licensing, and renewal of content from various sources, including studios, networks, internal content producers, as well as Major League Baseball.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date content library, including metadata, descriptions, and tags.
  • Work closely with content creators, vendors, and partners to source and manage content.
  • Collaborate with corporate partnerships, marketing, social media, and PR teams to deliver content and drive fan engagement through IPTV.
  • Communicate programming schedules and updates to relevant stakeholders to maintain alignment.
  • Ensure content is properly encoded, formatted, uploaded, and scheduled to the IPTV platform.
  • Manage the distribution of live and on-demand content.
  • Coordinate with IT, audiovisual, and technical teams to ensure the IPTV infrastructure supports content delivery and viewer experience.
  • Monitor and review IPTV content to ensure it meets quality standards and adheres to creative and brand guidelines specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to content playback, such as audio/video sync problems or streaming quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with copyright laws, licensing agreements, and industry regulations.
  • Support and contribute to the Digital Experience department’s broader goals and vision.
  • Other duties as assigned.

User Experience Enhancement

  • Optimize the IPTV interface and experience by organizing content into user-friendly categories, playlists, and recommendations.
  • Gather and analyze user feedback to continuously improve the IPTV service and viewer satisfaction.
  • Implement features and functionalities that enhance content discovery and engagement.
  • Use data analytics to inform content strategy, scheduling, and promotional strategies.

Event Coordination

  • Plan and coordinate the streaming of live events, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality transmission.
  • Collaborate with event organizers and content providers to ensure a seamless viewing experience.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, IT, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience with digital product management, project management, or relevant experience.

  • Skilled at managing and maintaining extensive volumes of files, content, and data with precision, ensuring accuracy and easy accessibility.
  • Collaborative attitude and adept at fostering relationships with key teammates across departments and outside the organization.
  • Growth mindset that supports forward-thinking to drive the evolution of IPTV capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and navigate new technical platforms, ensuring smooth integration and utilization.
  • Proficient understanding of audio/visual technologies to support technical coordination and troubleshooting effectively, preferred.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by job responsibilities. This position will be expected to attend games and events to ensure accurate content and troubleshoot issues in real-time.
