- Anticipates and is prepared for fire, health, and safety inspections. Assists with the revision of safety procedures and emergency preparedness/crisis management plans. Assists with practice drills (e.g., fire, weather, security, etc.).

- Assists with classified personnel wage and benefit negotiations as directed.
- Assists with the collection, verification, and recording of program information as directed.
- Coordinates ongoing improvement of the facilities, operations, and trades/grounds.
- Shares knowledge about advances with operational procedures and equipment technology.
- Collaborates with Supervisor to develop plans, programs and procedures that ensure efficient facilities operations. Analyzes and evaluates facility operations and programs. Recommends and initiates new or improved practices and procedures.

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or alternative training/experience that meet state department of education business manager’s license requirements.
