ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILTIES (including but not limited to):
· Maintain personal hygiene standards when cleaning.
· Break down, clean, and sanitize internal and external
food-processing/packaging equipment.
· Clean and Sanitize Totes properly.
· Perform general cleaning of structural components such as walls, floors, drains.
ceilings, lights, etc.
· Clean and maintain auxiliary rooms, and structures as needed.
· Properly mix and safely apply cleaning and sanitizing chemicals when necessary
· Maintain and complete OSHA, food safety and HACCP paperwork associated with the position.
· Effectively communicate results and corrective actions required.
· Ensure that equipment is properly maintained in order to produce safe, quality, and legal products.
· Follow SOP's
· Work with QA Manager on continuous improvement sanitation projects.
· Proper use of all PPE.
· Maintain and follow Master Sanitation Schedule.
· Chemical inventory management.
· Basic math skills for potential conversions.
· Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
· Reduce risks to health and safety in the workplace.
· Maintain a sustainable environment in cleaning.
REQUIREMENTS
· 1 years’ experience preferably in a food processing industry.
· Ability to work in a team
· Good communication skills
· Ability to work under pressure.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to sit; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift, move, push, and/or pull up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and hot liquids.

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
