The Natural Resources Administrative Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Director of Natural Resources. This position is responsible for managing divisional information related to budgets, purchasing, travel, payroll, records, reports, and project files. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks with efficiency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to the Director of Natural Resources, including answering calls, responding to inquiries, composing meeting minutes and agendas, and managing communications.
- Maintains and organizes divisional records, filing systems, and ensures compliance with records retention policies.
- Coordinates travel and training for division staff, including arranging travel, registering for conferences, and tracking certifications, licenses, and memberships.
- Oversees office operations, train administrative staff, and communicates policy and procedural updates to managers and clerical staff.
- Assists in budget review and analysis, tracking spending, and preparing budget adjustments as necessary.
- Orders uniforms, office supplies, janitorial supplies, and other necessary items while adhering to purchasing policies.
- Reviews and processes timesheets, prepares timekeeping reports, tracks employee work hours, and addresses discrepancies.
- Manages Pro-card receipts, invoices, and monthly budget reconciliations, ensuring compliance with purchasing policies.
- Regular and predictable attendance is expected and required. All Cleveland Metroparks employees must be prepared to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as required.
- Keeps direct supervisor promptly informed of key/significant issues or concerns.
- Carries out duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner to maintain a safe work environment and surrounding area for oneself, co-workers and public. Responds to hazardous situations and/or potentially unsafe conditions by taking corrective action as capable and promptly notifying supervisory personnel.
- Updates and enhances own knowledge by involvement in continuing education for professional growth (i.e., attends relevant conferences, seminars, in-service trainings, and certification programs).
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of three years progressively responsible experience in administrative support.

Work Days: Monday - Friday, Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
