Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Manager of Vision Rehabilitation, assists with the coordination of services to clients participating in rehabilitation services.

Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Manager of Vision Rehabilitation, assists with the coordination of services to clients participating in rehabilitation services.
Essential functions:
- Correspond with clients, co-workers, and partners with a high level of customer service.
- Schedule rehabilitation services and maintain complete and accurate rehabilitation staff calendars and have the ability to address rescheduling or cancellations.
- Assemble and distribute assessment folders including all necessary documents for rehabilitation staff.
- Check in filled equipment orders and confirm accuracy with the assistance of Program Coordinator Assistant.
- Provide follow-up with clients, payers, staff, and partners to ensure that services agreed upon are provided and client’s needs are being met.
- Distribute equipment orders to appropriate staff in a timely manner.
- Scan and upload documentation from rehabilitation staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to be successful in a fast-paced environment while coordinating competing demands effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to resolve issues with internal staff.
- Excellent oral, written, and communications skills, including the ability to communicate easily and display a cordial manner towards individuals from a variety of socio-economics, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
- Skilled in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Supervision functions:
- None
Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in social services within a public health or healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with scheduling and managing calendars.
- Experience in a setting that includes enrollment information, referrals, or case management.
- Experience in administrative duties.
- Knowledge of common eye conditions.
- Knowledge of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Equipment/Tools Used:
- Personal computer; software including Word, Excel, Outlook.
