WORK HOURS:
M-F 6am-4:30pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.
- Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
- Diagnose mechanical/electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
- Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
- Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges.
- Plan and lay out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams.
- Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years in a manufacturing/plant maintenance
- Steel stamping and forming presses – a plus
- Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatics
- PLC knowledge – a plus
- Welding, fabricating, machining experience – a plus
- Experience in a trade school is a plus.
- Knowledge and proficiency in trades of electrical
- Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts – a plus
- Ability to lift and handle 50 pounds for certain positions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

At our Streetsboro facility, we have a metal stamping plant to provide component parts for our pails.
