The Utility Line Construction Expert will be responsible for constructing and maintaining the electrical transmission and distribution facilities of Cleveland Utilities Authority.
This role involves:
- Construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.
- Performance of energized and de-energized line work using appropriate equipment and safety procedures.
- Training and instruction of apprentice linemen on their duties and responsibilities.
- Ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition and properly maintained.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience as a Journeyman Lineman preferred.
- Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Completion of a certified lineman apprenticeship program.
- A valid Class A CDL is required.
- Ability to climb and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
