This role includes overseeing the strategic planning, leadership, and execution of digital marketing, marketing & brand strategy, multimedia, and creative teams' efforts to develop and sustain a comprehensive brand and marketing strategy for William & Mary.The successful Executive Director will be a proactive member of this talented and creative team with responsibilities for Marketing and Branding, Strategic Events, Strategic Communications, and Project Management across three core areas : enrollment, advancement, and institutional reputation.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in advertising, business, communications, marketing or a related field or the equivalent combination of education, training and / or experience.Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness.Experience leading an integrated marketing team across a complex organization.Demonstrated creativity and talent in branding, digital marketing, message development and strategic marketing.Strong project management skills.Effective leadership skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in a related field.Experience leading a marketing team in higher education.Expertise in enrollment marketing and / or brand marketing.Experience developing and deploying inbound marketing tactics.Hands-on experience with digital marketing strategies and analytics software.Advertised Pay Range : $130,000 to $140,000Remote Work Disclaimer : Remote work eligibility is not guaranteed and is subject to approval.EEO Statement : William & Mary values diversity and invites applications from underrepresented groups.
