Senior Managing Director, Structured Reinsurance
ReSolutions is the leading structured reinsurance broker in the industry, and part of the Aon Reinsurance Solutions Capital Advisory team. We are a team of 20 in the US, 45 globally, who work closely with clients to think holistically around capital management and optimization. We have placed over $2b in limit over the past two years alone and are recognized as industry leaders in structuring and placing challenging portfolios of risks. The team is comprised of CPAs, CFAs, Investment Bankers, Actuaries and Underwriters to develop solutions to help insurance carriers optimize their capital framework. Structured reinsurance is a key tool as it focuses on balance sheet management. We approach carriers as client teams, comprised of the treaty underwriters, analytics and Capital Advisory, which, in addition to structured reinsurance brokers, includes Ratings and Regulatory experts as well as Corporate Finance leaders. The ReSolutions team is currently seeking a Senior Managing Director to join the team in our Chicago or New York City office. Role will report to Head of US Capital Advisory and will have supporting team. In addition, this role is supported by the broader capital advisory team as well as the actuaries in Analytics.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead identification and development of client opportunities for structured reinsurance solutions (LPT / ADCs, Legacy books, Net Property QS)
- Focus on production of new business opportunities
- Lead client team coordination – Aon brokers, Aon analytics and Client project teams
- Support development and placement of structured reinsurance solutions
