Position Overview
The VP, Brand Marketing is responsible for building, developing, managing and amplifying the company’s overall brand strategy, position, look and feel, and voice and tone. He or she will drive the concept and creation of all assets to support brand, product, and marketing strategies across digital and offline properties. He or she will oversee the internal and external resources responsible for executing brand campaigns, developing assets, designing and delivering the corporate website and global corporate events. This individual must be highly motivated to inspire brand loyalty. They must be a creative thinker with a proven ability to build and lead high performing teams and manage and inspire outside agency partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, communicate and maintain a unified brand story (positioning and messaging architecture) across all marketing outputs.
- Work collaboratively with the leaders across Product Marketing, Revenue Marketing, and Field Marketing to ensure consistency across campaigns and channels.
- Connect overall brand strategy with product and solutions for a cohesive approach to the global brand storytelling.
- Create a global framework in partnership with local and regional marketing leadership teams.
- Plan, deliver and execute global corporate events ensuring a consistent and positive brand experience.
- Build and measure brand awareness / brand health and generate innovative ideas to increase brand affinity and loyalty.
- Create annual research and brand study programs to measure and optimize the Lookout brand with customers.
- Champion Lookout brand values, principles, expression, and guidelines across the company and partner communities.
- Develop brand guidelines and work to educate internal and external stakeholders about Lookout’s brand.
- Drive Lookout’s visual identity, product naming architecture and any acquired company brand integrations.
- Lead a team responsible for developing and executing effective brand strategies.
- Manage external agency resources required to deliver campaign support.
- Be the gatekeeper of the brand and brand voice for the organization.
- Work with Lookout’s HR team to develop and implement the employee brand as an extension of the corporate brand.
