Vice President ESG Advisory Reporting
Hill Knowlton Strategies has an immediate need for a Vice President ESG Advisory Reporting expert to support its Better Impact practice. This is a terrific opportunity to join a growing practice focused on sustainability, DEI, and ESG to engage in purposeful dynamic work that supports meaningful change.
The HK U.S. Better Impact team helps our clients build long-term, sustainable, and shared organizational value across multiple industries. This position will offer the opportunity to support a variety of projects such as ESG reporting, sustainability and purpose strategy, responsible sourcing, diversity, equity and inclusion, social impact research and analysis, stakeholder engagement, and reputation management.
The core focus of this role will include working with account teams on both day-to-day and longer-lead client projects. We work with organizations that want to authentically be better and in this role, you will have the opportunity to help turn passion into action.
Responsibilities could include :
- Lead teams on ESG materiality, reporting, and disclosures for clients aligned to ISSB, SASB, TCFD, TFND, GRI, and / or other reporting frameworks.
- Track and monitor ESG regulations and guidance globally.
- Devise and lead benchmarking of multiple industries' environmental sustainability, social responsibility, economic and governance performance targets, and disclosures.
- Help clients connect their actions in sustainability to their communications as it relates to reputation and preference, especially as it relates to third-party ESG rankings : DJSI, ISS, MSCI, Sustainalytics, S&P, GRESB, JUST 100, and / or reputable rankings (e.g. Fortune Most Admired, etc).
- Support teams on research and strategy recommendations to clients across a variety of areas : climate change, responsible sourcing, supply chain, energy, water, recycling, agriculture, circular economy, governance, human rights, governance, social impact, philanthropy, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Advise and at times perform deskside research – including Board of Directors presentations, media monitoring, trends analysis, partnership audits, benchmarking, competitive analyses, fact-finding, backgrounders, and research on sustainability topics.
- Guide and develop data analyses and written materials, including reports, blogs, internal communications, presentations, assessments, research summaries, and general client correspondence.
- Manage staffing and coordination of meetings, agendas, notes, and administrative support for events.
- Develop and regularly update project management timelines, partnerships, and conference lists.
- Analyze industry and marketplace trends and summarize for teams.
- Support multiple account teams with various projects.
