SecretProfile : Directs the NEXCOM Telecommunication Program Office. Formulates policy and procedures for the personal telecommunications service requirements to meet NEXCOM obligations as the CNO's program manager for personal telecommunications both ashore and afloat. Reports to the Deputy Commander, Military Services.Major Duties : Develops strategic global business plans for the NEXCOM Telecommunications Program Office.Develops strategic contract blueprint to establish multiple telecommunications contracts valued over $200M.Keeps NEXCOM abreast of AAFES, MCCS and Coast Guard telecommunication operations.Directs subordinate program managers in the design and formulation of telecommunication programs.Directs the review, analysis and approval of architectural plans for shipboard personal telecommunications systems.In coordination with NEXCOM District VP's and Senior Vice Presidents, directs the development and management of the NEXCOM Mobile Phone Centers.Develops and manages worldwide Unofficial / Personal Use Telecommunications services.Coordinates the delivery of services with OCONUS base Commanding Officers.Interfaces with various Chief Information Officers to work jointly in delivering personal telecommunications services.Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications : A total of 9 years of combined experience is required, including : General Experience :
Three years of experience in administrative, operational, technical or other responsible work.Specialized Experience :
Six years of managerial experience in a telecommunications environment.Telecommunications retail experience is preferred.Education : One year of academic study above the high school level may be substituted for nine months of experience up to a maximum of a 4-year bachelor's degree in telecommunications, marketing or retail field for three years of experience.Conditions of Employment : The incumbent must file a Financial Disclosure Report (OGE) Form 450.Must be eligible for and obtain a Secret Security Clearance.How to Apply : Applicants must apply online via the Navy Exchange website and click Work for Us.Agency Contact Information : Navy Exchange Service Command - NEXCOM
