Your impact as a Managing Director, Reinsurance Property Per Risk
Job Responsibilities :
- This role will have a heavy focus on property per risk, in particular structuring and negotiating complex commercial (including Excess & Surplus) per risk placements, understanding key terms and coverage concerns, and maintaining a comprehensive peer comparison to assist other broking teams in understanding per risk market dynamics.
- Collaborate with various broking teams to support both new and existing complex per risk placements.
- Coordinate with the Property Growth team on expanding Aon’s portfolio within the per risk market.
- In conjunction with actuarial and catastrophe modeling teams, expand Aon’s analytics approach within the Per Risk space.
- Make a significant contribution to the success of the company through financial impact of revenue contribution, strategic growth of a product, or enhancement of the company’s professional image and expertise.
- Use key business parameters to evaluate department efficiency.
- Act as a key client manager; achieve high client satisfaction results by accomplishing clients’ reinsurance placement goals.
- Grow existing accounts and seek new account opportunities.
- Achieve placement goals at or above set levels and support team growth to do the same.
- Effectively and independently conduct relevant business discussions at the most senior level (CEO / CFO).
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and reinsurers.
- Establish credibility with clients through day-to-day interactions.
- Demonstrate problem-solving techniques to best meet the clients’ needs; recognized as a solution provider for complex client issues.
- Set realistic expectations and timelines with clients; ensure all placements are thoroughly reviewed and delivered to the client within the acceptable cycle time.
- Adhere to Aon processes and procedures and all quality service requirements to deliver exceptional client value.
- Act as a mentor to broking professionals and develop people to maximum potential.
- Manage team of professionals or hold equivalent senior business responsibility.
- Manage T&E expenses for self and team within corporate guidelines.
- Commit to pursuing self-development of knowledge and skills in the evolving world of insurance, reinsurance, and analytics.
