ASE is recruiting senior engineering and support staff supporting the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense, Research and Engineering Branch (OUSD / R&E). We are currently seeking a Program Analyst (Chief Eng & Data) with demonstrated experience in supporting technical, managerial, or operational fields and mature judgement required to interface with external stakeholders and senior government personnel. Position located in the Washington D.C. / Virginia area. Telecommuting and remote work at management discretion.
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and secure cutting-edge technology and engineering capabilities to facilitate modernization efforts and support DoD joint warfighting efforts.
- Work with a team of driven, supportive, and highly skilled professionals.
- Provide, maintain and curate a library of purpose-built and commercial off-the-shelf engineering and data analysis tools, including appropriate documentation, to support detailed data analysis.
- Develop and maintain a data management and archival system that systematically identifies, stores, and maintains customer technical data, assessment findings and recommendations, and artifacts on the customers Information Technology system.
- Support data archival systems based on off-the-shelf tools and applications that support efficient data retrieval, analysis, and report generation.
- Provide technical support to review all products for quality and technical accuracy and ensure conclusions and recommendations are substantiated by data and analysis.
- Provide analysis and program management oversight to project execution via project tracking tools, periodic (monthly) reports, and financial products.
- Support the development of clear and concise white papers and briefings that document the roles, missions, and functions of the organization.
- Support the development and management of technical and policy initiatives to advance and improve the state of engineering and T&E practice, policy, and techniques.
- Support the development and updating of engineering, DT&E, and cyber policy and guidance based on experience and lessons learned throughout their efforts.

The Aerospace Sciences and Engineering (ASE) Division is based in Cocoa Beach, Fla., with facilities in Colorado Springs, Colo., El Segundo, Calif., and Orcutt, Calif. ASE’s primary focus is aerospace engineering, cyber security, and meteorological systems. ASE is the prime contractor to the U.S. Space Force, providing Systems Engineering & Integration of the Launch Safety infrastructure, the Satellite Control Network, and the Standard Space Trainer.
