Profile :
Hill Knowlton Strategies is seeking a dynamic Vice President with strong Corporate Communications and Issues Management experience to join an elite embedded global client team in Chicago. This position will serve as one of the lead client managers in the U.S., partner with inter-agency leads, and manage junior team members in a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary group.
Responsibilities :
- Independently lead day-to-day account operations and serve as a primary client contact.
- Cultivate and build account relationships with key day-to-day clients; nurture and grow the partnership over time.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of client business, industry competition, and relevant media.
- Develop and deploy strategic, proactive communications that deliver the client’s message regarding an initiative or issue.
- Identify and target specific audiences for communications regarding specific initiatives or issues.
- Provide client counsel and management on communications implications of an issue and its potential impact on corporate reputation.
- Research innovation and external best practices to manage and translate complex ideas, issues, and initiatives into strategic communication solutions.
- Maintain an awareness and detailed knowledge of developments in the business, including major projects impacting the enterprise.
- Track and monitor the effect of communications to ensure continual process improvement.
