Vice President Data Analytics

Work on analytics team to deliver high-impact, data-driven insights, recommendations, and metrics around investment and trading activities on the platform and in fixed income markets. Conduct empirical analysis on fixed income trading and market trends with guidance from more senior members of the team; Respond to queries and questions from internal and external groups in their data needs – regarding activities on Tradeweb Direct trading platform and fixed income markets; Provide clients and client-facing teams with insights and reports on trading activities and usage of the Tradeweb Direct system; Provide analysis to guide the development of content and analytics for new products supporting investments and trading in fixed income securities; Utilize data to help develop key strategies and new product features for better and more efficient investment and trading decisions; Work with the technology team to guide the improvement of our data warehouse in capturing, collecting and organizing data; Present your findings in writings and efficient presentations to internal teams (product management, technology, relationship management, and senior management teams) and clients. Create innovative Tableau dashboards to visualize the trends in trading behavior between different asset classes. Implement error handling and auditing mechanisms for data loads to facilitate troubleshooting data issues. Carry out data extraction, cleaning, manipulation & wrangling for several in-house data requirements from Sales, Finance, Support, Product teams. The position is based out of a fixed location; however, telecommuting from a home office is allowed.Minimum Requirements : 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role. Experience must include : Two (2) years of experience with the following (experience may be gained concurrently) : SQL / ORACLE coding, database query, or other statistical analysis and data mining softwareDeveloping complex SQL scripts to create summary tables out of raw data that are easily usable as a Tableau data sourceWriting Oracle PL / SQL procedures that create replicas of tables and incrementally load data into the research schema from the production schema for downstream data reportingCreating data pipelines to move data between different relational databases including cloud data warehousesQuery optimization & performance tuningSix (6) months of experience with the following (experience may be gained concurrently) : Utilizing statistical packages in R and Python for several data preprocessing steps that include data cleaning, integration, and transformation for subsequent data modeling stepsMachine learning methods, techniques and algorithms : Classification, Regression, Clustering, and Decision Trees.Statistical analysis and programming tools including R, SAS, Matlab or a similar applicationTabcmd command-line utility to automate the generation of several Tableau reportsTableau Admin activities include but not limited to access privileges, server upgrades, data sources updates, enabling subscriptions, adjusting server settings, etc.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or a directly related field.Please send us your resume via email at candidates(at) (link removed) with reference #2702537 in the subject line.
