Job Summary
The Vice President, Auto Product Management will have full P&L responsibility for the assigned region for all channels (DTC, IA, and Affinity) and brands of National General through integrated product management initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring the development and execution of integrated product management strategies and management of other Product Management leaders to achieve growth and profit goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Full P&L responsibility for the assigned region.
- Implementing product management strategies and initiatives to generate profitable market share growth.
- Managing to a Product Management KPI framework that monitors performance of executed price, product, and risk management strategies.
- Overseeing the establishment and delivery of integrated risk management plans.
- Building and nurturing talent within the Product Management career path.
- Establishing a successful partnership with sales, claims, IT, legal, and policy operations.
- Motivating, developing and providing leadership to team members.
- Identifying and analyzing major competitors' risk management policy components.
- Reviewing external trends affecting the industry and adjusting business plans accordingly.
- Leading directly and partnering with Compliance to establish a good working relationship with Departments of Insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
Education and Experience : 10 years of demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility and achievement in leadership roles focused on non-standard auto product management.
Functional Skills and Competencies :
