What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Veterinary Technician position at Clevengers Corner Veterinary Care?
Who we are:
Clevengers Corner Veterinary Care is an AAHA-accredited hospital looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician applicant who would like to become a long-term member of our team.
LVT applicants must have a valid state license OR be actively enrolled in an accredited Veterinary Technician program.
Our LVTs contribute to our commitment to unparalleled patient care with:
- Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
- Competency in emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement
- Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
- Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff.
- Succinct documentation of patient record and client interactions.
