- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for young children.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents and other staff members to ensure the best possible learning experience for our students.
- Assist with the preparation of snacks and meals.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
- Ability to pass BCI/FBI and ODJFS Background Check
Nice To Haves
- 1 year experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
- Some completion of college-level coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- CPL III or Child Development Associate Certificate upon hire (CDA sponsorship available)
