About The Role
We are seeking a Lead or Assistant Pre-School Teacher to join our team at our Livingston location. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our young learners. They will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. The Lead or Assistant Pre-School Teacher will work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure the smooth operation of the classroom and the center.
Minimum Qualifications
The Lead or Assistant Pre-School Teacher will use their excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. They will use their knowledge of child development and early childhood education to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. They will use their ability to work collaboratively with others to ensure the smooth operation of the classroom and the center. Additionally, the ability to speak Spanish is a plus, as it will allow for effective communication with Spanish-speaking families.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
- Ability to pass BCI/FBI and ODJFS Background Check
- Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field and 1 years of experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Experience working with children of all ages
- CPL III or Child Development Associate Certification upon hire (CDA sponsorship available)
- CPR and First Aide Certified
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the smooth operation of the classroom and the center
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and families
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and center policies and procedures
