Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1 years experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
- CPL III or Child Development Associate Certificate upon hire
- Ability to pass BCI/FBI and ODJFS Background Check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and parents
- Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field with 1 years experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with the center's curriculum and meet the individual needs of each child.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Observe and assess children's progress, and communicate regularly with parents about their child's development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that the center's policies and procedures are followed.
