We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our warehouse team. You track ingoing and outgoing inventory, perform daily cycle counts, and report any discrepancies you are unable to reconcile. You must also keep inventory counts in our ERP system up-to-date, as this allows employees in other departments to check stock levels and work more efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Track and document changes in inventory
- Perform cycle counts, or check different sections of inventory on a rotating basis
- Reconcile discrepancies
- Use our ERP system to communicate inventory information with other business units
- Ensure proper labeling and placement of material
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and personnel lifts.
- Ability to differentiate and correctly record sequences of letters and numbers such as part numbers or serial numbers.
- Proficiency with computer software such as Excel and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
