The Anticipated Shift
This position is part of our 24/7 TAC department, which operates 365 days a year. We are currently seeking candidates for our 2nd and 3rd shifts (Eastern time) across Monday to Sunday. The anticipated shift for this role is 8:30AM-5PM, with one shift scheduled on Sundays.
Job Summary:
The Lead TAC Engineer manages and oversees the daily support operations of a team of TAC Engineers/TAC System Support Engineers. Primary responsibilities include:
- Acting as technical advisor and manager for support teams, providing direction and guidance for timely resolution of customer issues.
- Serving as point of contact for TAC.
- Serving as senior-level technical resource for system troubleshooting, issue identification, and resolution.
- Implementing strategic plans to improve customer support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We seek a candidate with:
- 10 years of experience in a technical support or engineering environment involving hardware, software, data, and communications technologies.
- 5 years in a Call Center/Help Desk environment or Technical Support Management role.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's level degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Senior-level supervisory experience in a technical call center/help desk environment.
