Summary
As a Production Lead at CLEVER FOODS & SUPPLEMENTS, LLC, you will oversee the production process, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role is critical in maintaining our commitment to quality and innovation in food production.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for overseeing the production activities of our manufacturing
operations, including:
- First and foremost is the safety the safety of our people and maintaining a clean
working environment (5S).
- Must assure teams follow written and verbal instructions, including Standard
Operating Procedures in all machinery operation at all stages in manufacturing
- Production teams must follow proper hygiene and safety protocols as per written
procedures
- Executes appropriate documentation in adherence to Quality Management System
and OSHA Policies and Procedures
- Works with production teams to clean, setup, and operate equipment and
workstation to perform assigned duties as appropriate to achieve the requirements
of the manufacturing schedule, with direction and supervision as required
- Demonstrates understanding of production operations and the ability to assist with
the job training for Trainee Operators
- Lead the production teams that might be involved, but not limited to, the following
processes:
o Weigh ingredients for production as per instructions on batch record
o Load products onto machines
o Setup and operate manufacturing equipment
o Stage utensils for manufacturing
o Load products onto trays for drying
o Clean equipment before and after use
o Clean manufacturing rooms and warehouse
o Weigh and pack finished products
o Apply labels on packaged product containers
- Develop and implement the daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs to manage the
department with excellence.
- Develop a continuous improvement plan through kaizens and projects.
- During the startup of the plant, leading and/or supporting the cGMP and HAACP
certifications will be priority.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a production environment.
- Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
