Security Officer (Unarmed) Duties and Responsibilities may include:
- Monitor and Authorize Entrance and Departure of Employees, Visitors, and Students.
- Patrol Campus with assigned Security Vehicle to ensure Employees, Students and Building are Secured.
- Contact Emergency Responders, such as Police, Fire Department, and/or Ambulance Personnel, as Needed.
- Writes Reports of Unusual Activities and Events.
- Communicate with Staff and Management as Needed.
Security Officer Qualifications:
- Retired Law Enforcement Preferred.
- Experienced Security Officer Preferred.
- Applicant must provide a certified copy of Driver's License
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Must have a valid Maryland Security Guard Card.
- Seeking motivated individuals with a minimum of Five (5) years of Security Experience.
- Minimum of Five (5) years of Customer Service experience preferred
- Must Be 23 years old and older
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- All applicants are subject to a Background Check and Drug Testing
- Applicants must have reliable transportation
- Hours: Flexible Shift Work
- Basic writing and basic computer skills (Word and Excel) are required
