We are a locally owned and operated residential construction and remodeling company based out of Tacoma, WA. Our company offers services such as kitchen and bath remodels, home renovations and additions, custom carpentry, and exterior services. We pride ourselves on quality connections, communication and craftsmanship with both our clients and vendors. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the dimensions, materials required, and the procedures to be followed.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications.
• Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors,ceilings and roof systems
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, or hardware using carpentry tools.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate existing structures by replacing or upgrading wood components.
• Safely operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders.
• Work with other construction professionals, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete projects.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
• Ensure that all projects comply with local building codes and regulations.
• Forecast production schedule and meet milestone dates.
• Able to work weekends as needed

• Ensure quality control of materials and mechanical attachments in accordance with structural design.
• Safeguard materials against loss or damage and minimize waste

Qualifications

• 5 years experience as a carpenter
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
• Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is a plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Must have own tools

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 70  pounds
• Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods
• Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience level

Benefits:

• Paid Holidays
• One week paid vacation
• One week paid sick time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Some weekend work as needed

Ability to Commute:

• Must have reliable transportation and commute to job sites in various cities
