Courier Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and packages efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deliveries throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload packages and freight, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Follow assigned routes for deliveries while maintaining schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues that arise.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while driving and handling goods.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
• Experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Experience with heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) is required for loading and unloading tasks.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and forklift operation is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.

Pay: $20.65 - $22.54 per hour
