Cliantha Research is looking for part-time registered nurses to help with our clinical research studies. This is a part-time position, and we allow you to pick and choose your hours! Emergency and EKG experience would be great!

What we are looking for:
Experience with the latest devices and preparation of injectables for administration; able to spot phlebitis and mild versus serious reactions to biologics due to exposure to vaccines and other injectables, ability to recognize serious allergy or anaphylaxis and serious adverse reactions like Red Man Syndrome:
- Allergy or immunology clinic experience
- Dermatology clinic experience
- Rheumatology clinic experience
- Hematology/Oncology clinic experience
- Vaccination clinic (or clinics that administer vaccinations daily)
- Diabetes, and asthma care clinics.
Experience with administration of advanced injectables and ability to place difficulty IV and manage peripheral IV; ability to identify phlebitis, serious adverse reactions, respond quickly to anaphylaxis:
- Anesthesia
- Hospital vascular access team
Qualifications
- Valid and active RN License in the state of Florida
- 2 years of experience as an RN
- Prior experience in Clinical Research is highly preferred, but not required
- Prior experience in Emergency is highly preferred, but not required
- Must be able to work in a fully onsite role: no hybrid or remote will be considered
- Must live within driving distance to the site
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- CCRC certification is highly preferred, but not required
- GCP certification is highly preferred, but not required
Job Duties
- Conduct health screenings and tests to ensure that patients are clear of any disease or infection that might affect the study
- Prepare and monitor drug dosage levels and other treatments for participants in clinical trials
- Perform diagnostic tests and monitor participants’ health through regular assessments
- Observe participants for signs of improvement or decline, document any changes in health status, and provide clinical care where necessary
- Keep detailed records of all data obtained from patients including immediate patient reactions, side effects, and medical histories
- Ensure that all necessary safety protocols are followed during clinical trials
- Respond to emergencies and provide medical care as necessary
- Collaborate with the research team to ensure that trials and studies run smoothly and safely
- Administer investigational product and monitor for adverse effects
Qualifications
- Valid and active RN License in the state of Florida
- 2 years of experience as an RN
- Prior experience in Clinical Research is highly preferred, but not required
- Prior experience in Emergency is highly preferred, but not required
