- Create electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and timelines for new control system installations or upgrades.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on electrical and instrumentation designs.
- Test and commission control systems to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Provide technical support during project installation, start-up, and commissioning.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for control systems.
- Mentor other engineers and technicians in control systems, wiring schematics, and ladder logic.
- Stay up-to-date with new developments in control theory and technologies.
- Report immediately any suspicious or hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
