Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Boiler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with experience in servicing and maintaining boiler systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read schematics and troubleshoot various mechanical issues, ensuring optimal performance and safety of boiler operations.
Duties
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on industrial boilers and associated systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to boiler operations, including hydraulic and HVAC/R systems.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational processes.
- Conduct field service visits to customer locations for installation, maintenance, and repair of boiler equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and any other relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or as an industrial mechanic, preferably with a focus on boiler systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Familiarity with hydraulics and HVAC systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to continue learning about new technologies and industry best practices related to boiler operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
