This internship presents a valuable opportunity to explore various privacy functions, policies, and procedures while contributing to the success of both the Privacy department and the organization as a whole. Working alongside experienced Privacy professionals, the selected candidate will gain hands-on experience in areas such as compliance, employee training, and cross-department collaboration.This hybrid internship is based at Click Therapeutics’ headquarters in Tribeca, NYC, situated within one of the fastest-growing digital health communities. Attendance in the office is required on Wednesdays and Fridays. ResponsibilitiesDevelop data privacy policies and procedures to uphold the highest compliance standards.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to HIPAA and state, national, and international data privacy regulations.Assist with privacy initiatives across various departments, including Cybersecurity, Technology Development, Product Management, Commercial, Science, Medical Office, and HR.Support the privacy training program by educating colleagues on Click’s privacy compliance framework and best practices for handling personal information.Facilitate compliance monitoring activities, including reporting and analytics.Identify privacy risks related to new initiatives and emerging technologies (such as AI-driven data processing) and propose mitigation strategies.Contribute to additional special projects as needed. QualificationsCurrently enrolled as a rising sophomore or junior pursuing an undergraduate degree.Experience in developing and writing policies, standard operating procedures, Privacy Impact Assessments, or other technical documentation.Strong ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including data privacy counsel, when interpreting regulatory guidance.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce clear and concise analyses.Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple short- and long-term deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Practical experience acquired through internships, jobs, research, or personal projects.A willingness to learn through a combination of hands-on work and independent study. Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with privacy management software such as OneTrust or TrustArc.Understanding of AI algorithms and their intersection with data privacy concerns. Compensation$22 / hour Hours and DurationPart-time position, 30 hours per weekInternship duration : 10 weeks (May 20 - August 1, 2025) BenefitsMac LaptopSponsored Company EventsUnlimited Office Snacks and BeveragesAnd More… Equal Employment OpportunityClick Therapeutics is committed to equal employment opportunity for all employees and job applicants, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
