About the Role : Click Therapeutics is seeking aspiring design students eager to gain real-world experience, contribute meaningfully, and develop their skills in product design. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about creating products that enhance patient health outcomes.The Product Design Intern will collaborate with a dedicated design team, working closely with product, engineering, and science professionals to conceptualize, develop, and validate digital therapeutics for specific health conditions. This role offers an opportunity to engage in the entire product development lifecycle, from research and ideation to delivery and iteration, shaping the patient experience through thoughtful design. Under the guidance of experienced product designers, the intern will gain valuable exposure to the workings of a design team and receive hands-on mentorship.This hybrid internship is based at Click Therapeutics' headquarters in Tribeca, NYC, a hub for the rapidly growing digital health community. The intern will be expected to work in the office on Wednesdays and Fridays.Responsibilities : Manage a project from concept to delivery over the course of the internship.Participate in daily stand-ups and take direction from design leads.Engage in user research by developing testable prototypes, observing research sessions, and synthesizing results.Focus on project deliverables aligned with core skill sets under the guidance of design mentors.Analyze problems and develop solutions informed by guided research.Communicate design concepts through a range of UX deliverables.Create prototypes at varying levels of fidelity in collaboration with a UX copywriter.Qualifications : Rising sophomore or junior currently pursuing an undergraduate degree.Basic understanding of UX deliverables (journeys, flows, sketches, etc.) and their appropriate applications.Fundamental knowledge of user research and human-centered design principles.Strong team player with a willingness to be coached.Organized and detail-oriented with promising interface and interaction design skills.Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD (Figma is used at Click Therapeutics).
