Job Description:
Working with the BHS Medical Director, interdisciplinary team, BHS Nurse Navigator, and oncology service line staff, the BHS NP is responsible for developing, facilitating and/or coordinating system-wide patient care services designed for cancer care screenings and diagnostics. Responsible for implementation and program coordination of the High Risk Cancer, Specialty Care, and Every Woman Counts Programs. The BHS NP will function as a patient advocate and resource, program coordinator/developer, clinical educator, and program marketer. This BHS NP will develop and maintain a high degree of expertise and knowledge regarding state of the art technology and services related to Oncology and adhere to the Health System mission in providing quality care service.

Pay Range:
$86.88 - $130.31
Hourly
Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.

- Master of Science Accredited School of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MSN) - Required
- Demonstrated Nursing - Nurse Practitioner Required
- Nursing - Oncology Required
- Healthcare - Women's Health Program Development Required
- Ambulatory Required
- Clinical Setting Required
- Marketing Required
- Education/Training - Health Education Required
- Event Coordination Required
- NP Registered Nurse Practitioner - CA Board of Registered Nursing Required
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required
- DEA Drug Enforcement Agency - US Dept of Justice - Drug Enforcement Administration Preferred
- Excellent writing and speaking skills.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of PC applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook).
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Ability to work well with physicians, health care professionals, and community organizations.
