The Role
- Be a player/coach manager, leading a team of product analysts to deliver actionable insights on user behavior, product success, and business performance. Uncover and share critical insights that will shape our product and growth roadmaps and the future of ClickUp.
- Turn loosely defined problems into practical analyses.
- Partner cross-functionally with leaders from Product, Engineering, and Growth to scale our product data infrastructure, develop analytical frameworks, and grow our analytical tools to help us make increasingly more data-driven growth decisions.
- Own product experimentation at ClickUp. Build and maintain processes and tools to enable stakeholders to self-serve, driving impact and decision-making through experimentation.
- Ensure every growth product area has health metrics to track, insights for product discovery, and post-launch success dashboards.
- Identify opportunities for our product to increase customer conversion, retention, engagement, and lifetime value through data and a deep understanding of our customers.
- Data Stack: Snowflake, Amplitude, Segment, Split & Eppo, dbt, Tableau, Hex
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in a highly analytical role, 4 years in a product analytics role, ideally at a SaaS company.
- 1 years experience as a manager of analysts.
- Proven track record of developing, motivating, and inspiring analytics teams.
- A self-starter and excellent prioritizer who moves fast and can take ownership of projects and drive them to completion with minimal guidance.
- High degree of experience translating broad questions into structured analyses.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analytical solutions into actionable insights.
- A strong understanding of software business principles and metrics.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and product analytics, as well as an understanding of data warehouse principles.
- Experience working with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc…) and A/B testing.
- Experience with modern product analytics tech stacks.
Desirable:
- Consumer and SaaS product analytics experience.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics.
- Technical competence to perform advanced analytics using Python.
