Role Overview:
We are looking for talented and innovative performance test engineers to join our team. As a Senior Performance Test Engineer at ClickUp, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our platform's performance, scalability, and reliability. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement performance testing strategies to evaluate system performance.
- Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize system performance.
- Develop automated performance testing scripts and tools.
- Monitor system performance and provide insights for improvements.
- Ensure the platform can handle large-scale user loads efficiently.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in performance testing.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience in performance testing and analysis.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools and frameworks, e.g., Jmeter, Locust.
- Solid understanding of system architecture and performance optimization.
- Experience with cloud environments and distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Passion for enhancing user experience through performance excellence.
- Observability knowledge with logging, monitoring and alerting tools before and you know how observability data is collected, injected and aggregated for both frontend and backend.
- Bonus points: We believe strong engineers can pick up any technologies and tools fast and hit the ground up running. Therefore, we avoid listing specific technologies. However, if you have worked with the technologies we have in our stack that would definitely be a bonus point.
