Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.Job OverviewAs a Senior Die Cast Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving efficiency and excellence in tooling design and production. You will report directly to the Design Engineering Manager and collaborate closely to revolutionize the industry through advanced engineering and precision manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop stamping tooling, including strip layouts, simulations, die construction, and press specifications while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.Manage the end-to-end process of tooling programs, from sourcing to production readiness, while reporting progress to stakeholders.Assist in developing and updating Die and Gage standards manuals to enhance best practices and quality standards.Coordinate effective communication between tooling suppliers and internal business groups.Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize performance and minimize downtime.Provide floor support on production dies and tooling.Evaluate product designs for manufacturability and recommend cost-effective solutions.Mentor and train departmental personnel to create a culture of continuous improvement.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably Mechanical Engineering, with 5-10 years of experience in Tool and Die Engineering.Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD), with experience in 2-D and 3-D design packages such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar software.Strong understanding of ANSI / ISO drawing standards, GD&T dimensioning, and tool steels applications.Knowledge of Wire EDM, CNC machining technologies, and insert molding processes.Exceptional analytical and computational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.If you're ready to take your career to the next level and be part of a team committed to excellence, we encourage you to apply today!
