This Calibration Specialist II role is a critical part of our team's success. The successful candidate will have a strong background in scientific disciplines and laboratory techniques, as well as experience working in a GMP environment. They will be able to perform complex problem-solving skills and think critically about calibration procedures and methods.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Performing calibration tasks accurately and efficiently using approved procedures
- Documenting calibration results thoroughly and accurately in computerized systems and on paper records
- Providing feedback to team leads and Calibration Supervisor regarding updates and improvements to calibration procedures and methods
- Identifying and resolving complex instrument issues
- Training and guiding lower-level calibration personnel
- Supporting special projects and departmental activities
- Driving continuous process improvement in the calibration program through feedback and suggestions
- Maintaining a safe working environment with a 5S mentality
- Staying up-to-date with training qualifications through classroom, reading, and on-the-job training
