Instructional Designer/Trainer w/ Extensive Power BI Knowledge & Experience
(3-month contract)
Seeking an experienced Trainer and Instructional Designer with Power BI experience to work as a key part of a Data team.
This individual must possess Articulate 360 Rise and Camtasia experience, coupled with extensive knowledge of Power BI. This individual will be required to develop Power BI-related courses and conduct instructor-led training. Some travel is required.
This will include teaching trainees on how to connect to data sources, data preparation and transformation, creating visualizations, designing and publishing dashboards, enhancing Power BI report designs and exploring advanced features.
This is a three-month contract.

REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, business, technology, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in an Instructional Design role
- 5 years of Learning Management System (LMS) experience
- 5 years of experience designing and delivering system web-based training, content capture and development, and training curriculum development
- 5 years of experience using Articulate Rise 360 and Storyline
- 5 years of experience using Camtasia
- Instructor-led Training experience
- Demonstrated experience in working with diverse teams
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong organization, planning, problem-solving, decision-making skills and attention to detail. Comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple tasks with minimal direction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
- Complete fluency in speaking and writing in the English language
- Must be willing to travel

- Getting started with Power BI
- View Content in the Power BI Service
- Dashboards, Reports and Apps
- Working with Filters
- Print and Share from Power BI
- Overview of Power BI Desktop & Setting Up Power BI Desktop
- Connecting to data sources & importing data
- Data preparation and transformation
- Creating visualizations
- Designing and publishing dashboards
- Enhancing Power BI report designs
- Exploring advanced features
