Job Description : Technical Writer - Create, update, and maintain technical documentation such as reports, manuals, instructions, proposals, and policy guides. Ensure all materials are accurate, transparent, and compliant with federal cybersecurity guidelines. Collaborate closely with DHS policy teams, security specialists, and technical staff to document procedures, operations, and compliance measures.
Job Overview :
- Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation related to cybersecurity policies, system audits, and federal compliance procedures.
- Write, edit, and organize content to support DHS security audits, policy updates, and operational reviews.
- Collaborate with security specialists, policy teams, and technical staff to ensure all documentation complies with federal cybersecurity mandates.
- Ensure documentation aligns with DHS-specific cybersecurity protocols and federal standards for clarity, conciseness, and accessibility.
Security Clearance : Secret
Years Experience : 7 years or more experience in the responsibilities and tasks below.
