How Your Role Will Make An Impact
Systems and Business Process Support:
- Assist in documenting and analyzing "As-Is" and "To-Be" systems and processes, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
- Support the integration of systems, software, and hardware to align with MyNavy HR modernization objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective alignment of business processes with IT systems and cloud environments.
- Provide hands-on support for system and software integration efforts, ensuring compatibility and compliance with operational requirements.
- Assist in the migration of legacy systems into modernized environments, maintaining continuity of operations.
- Maintain system and software documentation, ensuring it reflects current configurations and standards.
- Support cloud infrastructure integration to enhance the scalability and reliability of MyNavy HR operations.
- Assist in configuring and maintaining network and hardware systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Address system vulnerabilities in compliance with Department of Defense standards and security policies.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including integration plans, specifications, and system configurations.
- Participate in working groups, milestone reviews, and cross-functional meetings to provide engineering support and insights.
- Communicate technical updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and potential solutions.
- Ensure adherence to DoD compliance standards, including Information Assurance (IA) and Computing Environment (CE) requirements.
- Contribute to process and system improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and reliability.
- Stay current on emerging technologies to provide insights for modernization initiatives.
What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:
- Clearance: Must possess a U.S. Secret clearance
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
- 2 years of experience in systems engineering, software integration, business processes, and system/network/software/hardware integration.
- Certifications: IA Contractor Training and Certification and Computing Environment (CE) certification may be required at the task order level.
- Basic understanding of systems and software integration, cloud infrastructure, and business process analysis.
- Familiarity with DoD frameworks such as DODAF and BEA, and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to contribute effectively to team efforts.
