Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 law firm with a nationally recognized Corporate / Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) practice , is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team in New York . This position offers the opportunity to engage in sophisticated transactional work for a diverse range of clients, including private equity firms and strategic buyers.
Candidate Profile :
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record .
- Active Bar Admission in New York.
- 3–5 years of substantive experience in corporate transactions and M&A work.
- Demonstrated experience with private equity transactions is required .
- Proficiency in domestic and cross-border purchase and sale transactions , strategic mergers , leveraged buyouts , corporate restructurings , joint ventures , and corporate governance .
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
