Seeking Flexible Endoscope Repair Technicians and Rigid Endoscope Repair Technicians. This is a great place to work, a family-oriented environment with long-term employees. Seeking several flexible repair techs and several rigid technicians, and needing to start as soon as possible.The Endoscope Repair Technician is responsible for installations, repair and maintenance, and calibration of most classes of flexible and rigid endoscopes. The ideal candidates will have worked in the endoscopes field on either flexible or rigid, or both types.
Accountable for installations, repairs, regular maintenance and calibration of most classes of flexible and inflexible endoscopes at the component level.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree, or relevant military training and experience.
- MUST have a MINIMUM 2 years qualified experience in the repair of endoscopes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Inspects devices to determine what type of repair and / or adjustment is required
- Replaces or repairs defective parts; reassembles medical devices or equipment and tests assembly for conformance to specifications
- Soldering wires to printed circuit boards
- Ability to assemble small parts and work under a microscope as needed
- Use a variety of small hand tools and test equipment
- Maintains a proper work area, clean on a regular basis
- Maintains record-keeping as necessary to comply with policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Abides by Company Safety policies and proceduresEducation and / or Work Experience Requirements :
- High School diploma or equivalent; training can be provided as part of benefits.
- Willingness to listen and learn in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills to operate test equipment
- Strong communication to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management; both verbal and written
- Physical Requirements :
- Mechanical aptitude, good hand / eye coordination and dexterity
- Ability to use a microscope
- Able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Candidate resumes MUST have month and year of start and end dates for each position they have held.
- MUST have a VALID TX / US drivers’ license with no violations (7-10 years). Must apply and have TX DL within 30 days
- MUST pass criminal background check (7-10 years) and drug screening.
- Candidates MUST provide a list of all equipment training – complete with month / year of training, OEM or school attended, dates attended and completion date. (Certificates not required)
- Must provide 3-4 professional references.
MUST have valid US TX drivers license and MUST be able to work in the US without Visa sponsorship.
