Capstone IT is helping our client to find an I/S Principal Solution Delivery Manager to lead the execution and governance of enterprise-level Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in a SAFe environment. This contract-to-hire role is pivotal in driving large-scale delivery initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and mentoring Agile leaders across five Agile teams. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in Agile and traditional project management methodologies, serving as the RTE in a dynamic Finance-focused ART of approximately 85 people.
Top 4 Skills:
- Enterprise-level Project Management (PMP certification required)
- SAFe-certified SPC or RTE with hands-on ART leadership
- Strong facilitation, collaboration, and communication across senior stakeholders
- Experience leading Agile delivery in Finance operations (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Lead Agile Release Train execution across five Agile teams (~85 team members)
- Coordinate large, multi-million-dollar delivery initiatives from planning through execution
- Manage ART-level risks, dependencies, and quality metrics
- Customize methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, SAFe, PMBOK) to suit project needs
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and foster continuous improvement
- Partner with Product Managers and System Architects to align ART outcomes with business priorities
- Mentor and develop Agile project managers
Qualifications:
- PMP certification required
- SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification required
- 8 years of project delivery and Agile experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with large-scale Agile delivery, preferably within Finance or similar domains

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
