Warehouse Associate

Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time Warehouse Associate to work out of our location in Waggaman, LA  This position assists with fulfilling & processing orders, shipping, inventory and other duties as assigned.    Essential Duties: Managing shipping tickets Loading and unloading trucks Pulling orders and prepping for shipment Keep work area clean and orderly Maintain a healthy and safe working environment Perform other related duties as assigned   Required Skills/Abilities: Experience in a similar work environment preferred Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, standard forklifts, and order-picker forklifts when needed. Willingness to learn the warehouse products Self-motivated Punctual and courteous Team player mentality a must; communication, collaboration, and motivation to follow through critical. Be able to work quickly and efficiently without constant supervision.   Physical Requirements: Must be in good physical condition and have good motor skills Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
