We're looking for a Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will be the primary point of contact for qualifying potential advisor partnerships. You will personally conduct consultative interviews with potential clients to determine mutual fit—not using high-pressure sales tactics, but rather having authentic conversations to identify advisors who align with our approach and values.
This role requires a relationship-focused individual who excels at asking thoughtful questions, identifying alignment, and extending partnership invitations to qualified advisors. You'll work closely with our leadership team to refine our qualification process and ensure we're partnering with advisors who will thrive with our systems.
- Personally conduct qualification interviews with financial advisors (we call these "Blackbox Partnership Interviews")
- Evaluate potential partners based on established criteria to determine mutual fit
- Extend time-limited partnership invitations to qualified advisors
- Proactively follow up with warm leads who engage with our marketing materials
- Help develop and refine our interview scripts and presentation materials
- Track and analyze key performance metrics to continuously improve our qualification process
- Generate additional leads through our existing database and marketing channels
- Document and systematize successful qualification strategies
- Proven experience in consultative sales, client relations, or business development
- Experience at a company with 10-50 employees, ideally helping develop client qualification processes
- Track record of successfully implementing and optimizing outreach campaigns
- Strong communication skills with emphasis on thoughtful questioning and active listening
- Self-motivated with demonstrated success identifying high-value relationships
- Analytical mindset to track metrics and optimize the qualification funnel
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team strategy
- Passion for continuous improvement and process development
- Consistent delivery of quality partnership interviews each month
- Successful identification of advisors who are the right fit for our approach
