Job Description: As a Commercial Landscaper Spray Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and appearance of commercial landscapes by applying pesticides, herbicides, and other chemical treatments. This position requires a detail-oriented, reliable individual who can work independently, manage their schedule, and maintain high standards of safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to commercial properties according to established schedules and guidelines.
- Inspect landscapes for pest infestations, disease, and other issues that require chemical treatment.
- Follow safety procedures to handle chemicals and ensure safe application practices.
- Maintain accurate records of chemical applications, including types, amounts, and locations.
- Operate and maintain spray equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Communicate with management regarding landscape health and treatment plans.
- Work closely with the landscaping team to ensure that properties are maintained at the highest standard.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations concerning pesticide use.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping, pest control, or related fields preferred.
- Must have or be willing to obtain pesticide applicator certification.
- Knowledge of chemical treatments, pests, and plant diseases.
- Ability to operate and maintain spray equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including various weather conditions.
