POSITION: BEVERAGE SERVER
WAGE: $7.00/HR. PLUS TIPS
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to all Casino Guests in accordance with CCCH & departmental standards.
Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be considered in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:
Take and deliver beverage orders to guests in a prompt and courteous manner while maintaining a friendly and pleasant atmosphere.
Maintain knowledge of beverage menu, all products, and POS system.
Continuously walk through assigned section with beverage cart offering service and upsell according to department SOPs.
Observe alcoholic beverage service rules according to Title 4 & department standards to prevent serving minors, over-serving, or serving intoxicated guests.
Stock, replenish and clean beverage work areas, including self-serve station and picking up glassware on casino floor.
Balance a cash bank and keep accurate records of sales transactions for end of shift report.
Complete opening and closing side work duties in a timely manner.
Maintain knowledge of all CCCH & department special events and promotions.
Perform other duties as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: N/A
Work Experience:
a. Have at least 6 months experience in a cash money-handling position.
b. Have at least 6 months experience in beverage serving.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
a. Be personable, outgoing and able to deliver exceptional guest service.
b. Able to plan, be well organized, and possess a good memory for guests and beverage orders.
Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements:
a. Have or obtain a valid Title 4 and Alcohol Awareness certification upon hire.
b. Have or obtain a valid Food Handlers certification upon hire.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
