POSITION: Beverage Supervisor
WAGE: $50,000/YEAR
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for overall operations of the Beverage Department venues during scheduled shift; this includes all bar areas and beverage service on the casino floor. Monitors Beverage team to ensure compliance with Title 4 & CCCH policies and procedures, while providing exceptional guest service
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Maintain knowledge of all CCCH & department special events and promotions
- Maintain knowledge of beverage menu, all products, equipment, and POS system
- Cover venues as needed during periods of high volume, breaks, call outs
- Complete accurate paperwork in a timely manner, including end of shift reports and issuing NOE’s & attendance notices
- Monitor bartender pours, costs, techniques, and addressing variances
- Provide exceptional guest service
- Resolve guest and team member issues and disputes
- Assign team member responsibilities and monitor service for effectiveness
- Prepare required reports (daily, weekly, monthly) and counseling notices
- Track and schedule department compliance and safety training
- Assist other casino departments with supervisory duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS (Indicate if Qualification is Required or Preferred):
Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation
1. Education: High school diploma
2. Work Experience: Minimum 2 years bartending experience in a high volume venue; minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a food and/or beverage venue
3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
a. Follow directions effectively
b. Plan and be well organized
c. Knowledge of beverage training, purchasing, inventory control and scheduling.
d. Computer literate in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
4. Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements:
a. Must obtain a valid Title 4 certification card;
b. Food Handlers card;
c. Alcohol Awareness card
5. Must be at least 18 years of age
6. Must be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.
7. Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid AZ Gaming License
8. Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional, positive, and courteous manner
9. Must be available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays, as deemed necessary
10. Must be able to comply with all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures
