POSITION : HOTEL FRONT DESK AGENT
WAGE : $17.50 / HR.
POSITION SUMMARY : Responsible for the successful overall service and transactional activities related to the Front Desk of the Hotel and Lodge while ensuring smooth and efficient operations while exceeding guests’ expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES : Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to :
Assist Guests with the check-in / out process for the Hotel and Lodge.
Respond to Guest requests, complaints, or inquiries.
Maintain working knowledge of the property as well as special events.
Ensure that the check-in / out process is handled in accordance with company policy.
Support guest messaging, switchboard, in-house text messaging service, and reservation function.
Maintain thorough knowledge of Hotel and Lodge occupancy and inventory.
Post room, tax, and other charges to guests’ accounts.
Make, cancel, and reschedule reservations upon request.
Conduct accurate cash, credit card, and voucher transactions.
QUALIFICATIONS (Indicate if Qualification is Required or Preferred) :
Education : High School diploma, or Equivalent, required.
Experience : Prefer one (1) year prior hotel experience, preferably in Front Desk Operations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Have basic computer knowledge with Microsoft Office programs.
Possess effective communication (verbal) skills.
OPERA PMS system experience a plus.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.
Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
Be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.
Available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary.
