What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodial Maintenance Staff position at Cliff Drysdale/PBI?
Newport Beach Tennis Club in Newport Beach, CA is looking for Part Time and Full Time Maintenance Staff! Pay scale is $16.00-$16.80 per hour.
General Purpose:
Provides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, grounds and other areas as required.
Essential Duties:
- Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
- Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
- Assure maintenance of the tennis courts and swimming pool.
- Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
- Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.
- Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Physical Demands:
Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
Certificates/Licenses:
No certifications or licenses are required.
